Public Notice: Proposed Tidal Wetlands Projects, May 2025

NOTICE

VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY D/B/A DOMINION ENERGY VIRGINIA, #2025-0278: Pursuant to Chapter 14 of Title 28.2 of the Code of Virginia, you are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held by the Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC) at their meeting beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in the Commission meeting room at 380 Fenwick Road, Building 96, Fort Monroe, to consider an application submitted by Virginia Electric and Power Company d/b/a Dominion Energy Virginia to install a monopile support structure that will result in 20 square feet of tidal vegetated wetland impacts situated along Proctors Creek in Chesterfield County, serving Dominion Chesterfield Power Station. ELIAS SCOTT, #2024-2196: Pursuant to Chapter 14 of Title 28.2 of the Code of Virginia, you are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held by the Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC) at their meeting beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in the Commission meeting room at 380 Fenwick Road, Building 96, Fort Monroe, to consider an application submitted by Mr. & Mrs. Scott Elias to replace an existing groin with a 40-foot low profile groin extending channelward of an existing bulkhead along the Rappahannock River at 113 Wildwood Place in Essex County.
